First in Math Champs
Our class was recognized as the First in Math class of the week with +1,254 points! In addition, Jadora was the school-wide player of the week. Way to go girls!

Communication Unit
Our new unit is all about C-O-M-M-U-N-I-C-A-T-I-O-N! We have been working on a timeline and discussing the evolution of the phone. Violet’s family brought in two styles of rotary phones. The girls had fun practicing their phone numbers.

Mummies, Pyramids, and Pharoahs
After enjoying our guided reading book about Egypt, the girls wanted to recreate different styles of pyramids. They created a step pyramid, traditional pyramid and a Mayan style pyramid.

Lunar Treats
The girls turned in their lunar calendars today. As a special treat, they enjoyed adding craters to sugar cookies using frosting.

Visiting Our Garden
Mr. Bremen took the class out to our garden today–we were amazed at how much our crops had grown. We were able to sample a variety of produce that can also be found at local grocery stores and farmer’s markets.
