Native Tribe Presentations: Day 2

Today we heard from Robyn, Caroline, Jayla, Violet, Sofia, Campbell, and Maradi. Our class learned that the Chickamauga lived near the Tennessee River, the Maori tribe makes up 15% of New Zealand’s current population and the Penobscot lived in two different houses based on the season. We identified many similarities between the Sami tribe of the Nordic region and the Inuit tribe of Northern America. We ate a delicious version of acorn meal bread and viewed a wonderful chickee model.
